not (parking) at all!

no parking sign I thought I had seen all the good parking signs in New York City. I guess not. I saw this one on 1st Avenue near 40th Street last week. I guess if you go over the top, people just won't take you seriously.

Yep, those are some very old signs, pre-Dinkins and possibly pre-Koch, of which there are still a few scattered here and there. My favorite from the series is "Don't even THINK of parking here," with the "THINK" in a large font on its own line. Jeez, I love NYC.
